Julie Mack / David Jernigan Duo

Julie Mack (vocals) and David Jernigan (upright bass) are jazz musicians who perform in the Washington, DC area.  As a "chamber jazz" duo they explore what just a voice and a bass can do with an array of music spanning from the Renaissance to the present day in genres ranging from Brazilian to Broadway to Bebop.

The Julie Mack / David Jernigan Duo provides an intimate, hip and soulful acoustic sound for art openings, smaller venues & concerts.  The duo has performed at art openings, restaurants, clubs and private events in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia, including the Takoma Park Jazz Festival, Little Salon, Foundry Gallery, Gallery B, Artomatic, 87 Florida, Gallery Neptune, the Blackwall Hitch and Black Fox Lounge; and at the concert series of Anderson House (Society of the Cincinnati) on Embassy Row.
